Sara K. Redd, PhD, MSPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences (BSHES) and the Director of Research Translation with the Center for Reproductive Health Research in the Southeast (RISE) at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Trained in health policy, health services research, and social science, Dr. Redd is an interdisciplinary scholar of domestic sexual and reproductive health (SRH) policy and equity. Dr. Redd's research agenda sits at the intersection of health policy and social science, examining the effects of domestic SRH policies on the health and wellbeing of people who may become pregnant in the United States. Dr. Redd employs a socioecological framework and reproductive justice lens to this work, paying particular attention and devotion to SRH equity and the experiences of those living in the South.
