“Getting my MPH in Health Policy and Management definitely gave me a competitive advantage. I was interested in federal health care consulting, which is very competitive and difficult to get your foot in the door. Rollins and HPM gave me all the resources and support to get my dream job out of school. Everyone around you is there to help you grow personally and professionally and I am very grateful for my HPM family!”

Claire Talbert

"I was motivated to apply for the PMF Program to continue my public health education and contextualize what I have learned at Rollins. I hope to gain insight into how the federal government functions and the roles that different agencies play in promoting public health. I am especially interested in the opportunity to work alongside dedicated public servants as they collaborate to bring the policies and programs that I have studied to life."

"My long-term career goal is to work as a Health Policy Analyst at a state or federal agency, and is using the PMF Program as a stepping stone towards fulfilling that goal. This opportunity means a lot to me. It means the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives. It means working with senior-level government leaders to solve important problems. It also means the opportunity to apply what I learn in graduate school directly to real life situation. The possibility of countless opportunities while at the same time offering me a chance to make a larger positive impact really motivated me to apply for the PMF."

"I have always had an interest in the intersection of government, public policy, and public health. I have always had the dream of working for the CDC or another HHS agency since I was in high school. The PMF program has now granted me that opportunity in making my dreams a reality. I would like to recognize and thank the amazing faculty, staff, and community at Rollins because I believe that without getting my MPH from here, I would not have been selected as a finalist. Every program, event, and class attended had prepared me for this opportunity to dive into the realm of health policy and use the skills I have been taught to help improve the public health workforce."
