Dr. Cranmer’s research focuses on tuberculosis detection and prevention among HIV-infected mothers and their children. She has worked to define the burden of TB infection and disease among HIV-infected mothers and their infants in Kenya and is currently engaged in evaluating the role of maternal immunity on infant BCG vaccine responses and infant TB infection.
