John  Hanfelt

Professor

Faculty, Biostatistics and Bioinformatics

My research interests include latent variable methods to gain insight into neurodegenerative diseases, robust methods for complex longitudinal and cluster-correlated studies, and the theory of estimating functions and artificial likelihood. I direct the biostatistics/epidemiology/research design program of the Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance and co-direct the statistics/data management core of the Emory Goizueta Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.  I am a Fellow of the American Statistical Association.
