Madeline Lynam

Madeline Lynam, MPH, earned her Master of Public Health degree from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in 2024. Upon graduation, she concluded her Master’s thesis research in the Hubert Department of Global Health before joining the EPRC as a Project Director for the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network (CPCRN). In this role, Ms. Lynam coordinates study activities for a lung cancer screening program that seeks to increase screening rates in rural, Southwest Georgia through a community-informed intervention being implemented at six primary care clinics. As an MPH student, Ms. Lynam was heavily involved in community-engaged HIV research under Dr. Sophia Hussen, and she worked in the Division of Global HIV and TB at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her research interests include mixed-methods research, community engagement and collaboration, social determinants of health, and intervention development, implementation, and evaluation.
