Chandra Ford, PhD, MLIS, MPH, is a professor in the Department of Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences. She moved cross country from the Fielding School of Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was a professor of community health sciences and founding director of the Center for the Study of Racism, Social Justice, and Health. She is the co-author of "Racism: Science and Tools for the Public Health Professional" which received the Outstanding Academic Title for 2020 from the American Library Association's Choice magazine.
