Dr. Berendes is a Senior Service Fellow Epidemiology at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He is the hygiene subject matter expert and hygiene/sanitation epidemiologist in the Waterborne Disease Prevention Branch, National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases.
