In addition, MD/MPH students have worked in five of the Centers housed at the school. 

The research activities of the Public Health faculty are diverse and include studies of national and international scope. Faculty collaborate with researchers at the School of Medicine, the American Cancer Society, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), The Carter Center, CARE International, the Morehouse School of Medicine, the National Institutes of Health, the Georgia Institute of Technology, county health departments, and the Georgia Department of Human Services as well as schools of public health, schools of medicine, and public health agencies around the world. The Emory Institute for Global Health also offers exciting opportunities to our students.
